Reduced pit elevators
Cases where pit depth is below standard (typically 1100–1400 mm). We select technical solutions (special buffers, safety systems) maintaining EN 81-20/50 compliance.
Since 2008 PROENSO has been selecting, supplying, installing, modernizing and servicing elevators for projects in Poland and across Europe. We combine our own engineering integrations with technologies from proven European manufacturers, so every project — from a standard apartment-block elevator to a non-standard panoramic cabin in a prestige building — gets a solution matched to shaft conditions, schedule, UDT requirements and investor budget.
We work across six areas that form one coherent engineering offering:
Part of the PROENSO team began its elevator career at Warszawska Fabryka Dźwigów Translift (Warsaw Elevator Factory Translift) — founded in 1950, for decades the only major manufacturer of passenger and freight elevators in Poland. Translift delivered over 70,000 elevators to Polish buildings — from prefabricated apartment blocks to public and industrial facilities. ODA and MDA models still operate in thousands of Polish stairwells — testimony to a solid Polish engineering school.
PROENSO continues this heritage: we know legacy constructions inside out, we understand Polish post-war architecture, and we know how to modernize Polish-tradition lifting equipment without full replacement — with modern European components but Polish know-how. If you operate an older elevator in a prefabricated building, see our Polish guide on Translift / ZREMB modernization (in Polish) →
PROENSO is known in the Polish elevator industry for delivering projects that standard suppliers reject as "impossible":
Cases where pit depth is below standard (typically 1100–1400 mm). We select technical solutions (special buffers, safety systems) maintaining EN 81-20/50 compliance.
Configurations critical for older tenement buildings and listed heritage buildings under modernization, where the construction does not allow standard overhead clearance above the top landing.
Elevators with cabin entrances arranged at 90° to each other — useful in buildings where front and rear access are required from different facade orientations.
Bespoke cabin interiors for prestige and hospitality projects — material selection, lighting design, control panel layout.
Component replacement (control, drive, doors, cabin) without rebuilding the elevator shaft — minimizing construction work in occupied buildings.
PROENSO operates a network of 25+ manufacturers across Poland, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Lithuania, Sweden, Spain, the Czech Republic and Austria. Equipment selection is project-driven — every shaft, every cabin, every drive is matched to the specific building and operating profile. We do not sell a single brand. We sell engineering decisions.
One accountable engineering team coordinates every project lifecycle stage:
18+ years of integrating elevators across Poland and Europe. 100+ models in catalogue. Full Polish UDT documentation and acceptance support. CE compliance, EN 81 family standards, Directive 2014/33/EU. Active in residential, commercial, hospitality, public and industrial sectors.
