PROENSO Hub — remote elevator monitoring and the digital elevator lifecycle

PROENSO Hub brings together the technical data of each lift, its documentation, UDT inspection records and service life, the service history, maintenance, events and monitoring in one platform. The equipment record and day-to-day service run live today; remote monitoring is being rolled out across more installations.

What PROENSO Hub covers

A lift produces data and documents throughout its working life. PROENSO Hub keeps them together with the lift they belong to, so that service can respond faster and with the full history at hand.

01

Digital equipment record

Every unit has its own record: technical data, components, documentation (manuals, declarations, reports, measurements), UDT inspections, warranty, modernisations and change history.

02

Service and maintenance

An electronic maintenance log and an event register for each lift. Every visit, repair and replaced part stays in the equipment history.

03

Deadlines, UDT and service life

The Hub tracks UDT inspection dates, contract terms, service-life (resurs) assessments and components nearing the end of their service life — the team is alerted in advance.

04

Events and alarms

A reported breakdown goes to the assigned technician as a job with status tracking. On lifts covered by monitoring, events from the equipment reach the event centre. When closed, a report is added to the record.

05

Remote monitoring and analysis

Operating data — depending on the controller — is collected and analysed, and in the target model linked to the lift's history in its record. Being rolled out across more installations.

06

AI supporting the engineer

An AI assistant for documentation and technical knowledge, plus manufacturer-instruction suggestions when a breakdown is reported. AI supports — people make the technical decisions.

From the elevator to the service team

A general outline of remote monitoring. Technical details (protocols, configuration, infrastructure) are discussed individually during deployment and are not published for security reasons.

01

Elevator

Controller and the available operating signals.

02

Communication module

Data read at the installation (edge / gateway).

03

Secure transmission

Data sent from the module to the platform.

04

PROENSO Hub

Target model: data linked to the equipment record and history.

05

Analysis and service

Event centre, analysis, response of the technician and property manager.

Note

In the target model, monitoring data lands in the record of the specific lift — next to maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, UDT inspections and components — so the service team reads each event in the context of the lift's whole history. We are connecting monitoring data with the equipment records in PROENSO Hub step by step.

What runs today and what we are rolling out

We describe the actual state, not marketing plans. “Live” — used in day-to-day work. “Rolling out” — running on the first installations, scope being extended. “In development” — further integrations.

One Hub. Different technologies.

We keep records and provide service for lifts from many manufacturers. Remote data access depends on the controller — which is why we keep these levels separate.

Partner ≠ integration

A commercial partnership with a manufacturer (see PROENSO partners, in Polish) does not automatically mean that its controllers send data to PROENSO Hub. Remote data access is confirmed separately, for each specific lift.

What it means for property managers and owners

01

Deadlines under control

UDT inspections, contracts and service life are tracked by the service team — less risk of missed dates and of the lift being taken out of service.

02

Continuous equipment history

The full history of the lift in one place — easier to prepare for an inspection or a discussion with an insurer, or to make an informed modernisation decision.

03

Faster, better-prepared response

The technician arrives knowing the lift's history — and on monitored installations, also the details of the event.

Frequently asked questions about PROENSO Hub and elevator monitoring

What is PROENSO Hub?

PROENSO Hub is the platform PROENSO uses to look after lifts and other lifting equipment: a digital equipment record for every unit (technical data, components, documentation, UDT inspections, service life), maintenance, breakdowns and service requests, deadlines and — on a growing number of installations — remote monitoring data. The Hub is used by the PROENSO team; owners and property managers see the result as reports, tracked deadlines and a faster service response.

What is elevator telemetry?

Elevator telemetry (lift telemetry) is the automatic, remote transfer of operating data from an elevator to a service system — for example status, fault codes, trip counts, door cycles or power supply status. Which data is available depends on the controller and on the communication module fitted.

How does remote elevator monitoring work?

A communication module next to the controller reads the available data and sends it to the service system. There the data is organised and analysed, and events that need attention are passed to the service team; the target model also links every event to the equipment record. At PROENSO, remote monitoring is being rolled out across more installations, and we confirm the scope for a specific lift after a technical assessment.

What data can be read from an elevator controller?

Depending on the controller and module: operating status and fault codes, car position, speed, number of starts, door cycles and door travel times, door reversals, selected drive parameters (such as current, frequency, temperature), safety-circuit status, power supply and the module's connectivity. Not every installation exposes all of these signals.

What is predictive diagnostics for elevators?

Predictive diagnostics — part of condition-based maintenance — uses operating data and the service history to flag components that need attention before they fail. It gives the service team an early indication, but it does not replace routine maintenance, the technician's judgement or statutory UDT inspections. At PROENSO, data analysis is being rolled out together with remote monitoring.

What is a digital equipment history?

It is a single, structured record of one lift: technical data, components, documentation, UDT inspections, maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, modernisations and service life — with a full change history. Every unit PROENSO looks after has such a record in PROENSO Hub.

How does AI support the service technician at PROENSO?

An AI assistant helps the PROENSO team work with documentation and technical knowledge: it searches manufacturer documentation, structures notes (including voice notes) and helps prepare summaries of service requests. When a breakdown is reported, the system suggests manufacturer instructions for the components fitted in that particular lift. AI supports — people make the technical decisions.

Does remote monitoring replace maintenance or UDT inspections?

No. Monitoring adds information about how the lift operates between service visits. Mandatory maintenance, inspections and decisions of the Polish Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) remain unchanged. PROENSO Hub is not certified or approved by UDT — it is a PROENSO service tool.

Can lifts from different manufacturers be monitored?

PROENSO Hub holds equipment records, documentation, maintenance, breakdowns, UDT deadlines and service life for lifts from many manufacturers, including units we did not supply (multi-brand elevator service). Remote data access depends on the controller and on an available interface — we are extending support to more controllers and confirm the scope for a specific lift after a technical assessment.

How does elevator data help prepare a service visit?

When the technician knows the fault code, the history of similar events and the components fitted, the technician can bring the right parts and documentation on the first visit. The event history also helps tell a one-off fault from a recurring problem and plan a repair or modernisation.

How does PROENSO Hub connect monitoring with the equipment history?

In the target model, monitoring events land in the record of the specific lift — next to maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, UDT inspections and components — so the service team reads each signal in the context of the lift's whole history rather than as an isolated alarm. Today, monitoring data is collected by a separate layer of the system, and we are connecting it to the equipment records in PROENSO Hub step by step.
